F2被拒，求分析

背景：我山东人，在上海读研，今年硕士毕业，毕业之前一周去上海签证。我对象在美国读PhD，非敏感专业。

对话如下：
签证官并没有抬头，说了个“你好”，
我回了一个“good afternoon，sir”。
他说“oh, hi”。
我说“I’m here applying for the F2 visa. My husband is in US, he is in a phd program. I want to live together with him”（他要了我的DS160和i20）
他说“oh, F2. I know. Where are you from”
我“I am from Shandong province, in north part of china”
他“why do you come to shanghai”
我“I am studying in east china normal u, it is in shanghai”
他“你啥时候毕业”
我没听清“excuse me?”
他重复了一遍
我“in a week”
他自言自语“in one week”
好像是这时候问了专业，先问我的，再问他的，我说了两个history.
他好像开始问我去的原因了。
我“i want to live with him. my husband is in a phd program, you know, he is under great pressure, i want to live with him and take care of him.
他“你打算在那儿呆多久”
我“until he graduates”（五年后）说完我意识到这句话是错的，而且我在嘴边重复这句话，但没说出来，他在那儿敲字，之后就等了有一分钟左右。随后他就“I am sorry”了。
我有点震惊，结结巴巴说了一个“thank you all the same”
他点头
我说“one more question,（他点头），can I apply again?”
他说可以，如果我的申请条件发生了改变，我可以再次申请
我说“thank you. Have a nice day”

从头到尾，签证官没有想我索要材料，事后跟别人讨论了一下，可能存在以下两个严重问题：
第一， 对方本来用中文跟我对话，而我却用了英文，似乎有班门弄斧而弄巧成拙的嫌疑。
第二， 在回答年限的时候，我回答了一个很长的时间，可能被认为有移民倾向。

请问这种情况，第二次签证应该怎么办？隔多久去比较好？
