Today, we filed the H-1B Change of Employer petition. We should receive a receipt from the USCIS in approximately 2-3 weeks and will then provide an estimated processing time for the case.
As you are currently in valid H-1B status and are changing from one H-1B employer to another, you are permitted to begin employment the day after the H-1B petition has been delivered to USCIS. Please find attached the H-1B filing copy and fedex.comtracking information to monitor and confirm delivery of the H-1B change of employer petition at the USCIS. Once confirmed, you may set your start date with your recruiter.
We recommend that you do not travel internationally while this case is pending, but we are are of your plans to travel in November. Please do keep us updated on exact travel dates, and we will reach out to you accordingly with notices.
