Dr. Weize Yu in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at the Old Dominion University is seeking graduate students (Ph.D. degree seeking in Electrical Engineering) starting Spring 2018 and beyond. On-chip voltage regulation; power/thermal management; PUF design; side-channel and covert channel attacks; hardware Trojan detection; computer architecture.

Dedicated students who are interested in

1. designing, analyzing, fabricating, and testing state-of-the-art CMOS;
2. developing efficient and secure on-chip power delivery architectures;
3. hardware security primitives (PUFs, side-channel countermeasures, etc)
4. developing mathematical models for security metrics;
5. developing design methodologies, guidelines, and algorithms for CAD tools
