我在北美读研，前几天和一个英语系的老师说起想读些英文诗歌，又怕有的太难了，她当即给我写了一些，过后又发email给我，把她的回复贴在这儿啦，有兴趣的童鞋可以看看~

More good poets for you to read (At least, they are among my personal
favorites): Billy Collins, Sharon Olds, Janet Flanders, Gerald Stern, and
Robert Frost. Frost died in, I believe, the 1970s, but he wrote many
famous and delightful poems that are still meaningful today. Adrianne Rich
and Denise Levertov are excellent and famous women poets, but some of
their work is very difficult. Sharon Olds writes about nature and other
topics. Janet Flanders was a visiting poet here and I took a wonderful
class with her.
Billy Collins has edited at least two volumes with titles something like
_One Hundred Poems for Every Day_ or _One Hundred Everyday Poems_. These
books are very enjoyable.
