原来CPT不是每个学校的专业都能申的？

因为比较关心实习问题，发了邮件问学校ISSO的CPT情况，没想到回答是这样：
Curricular Practical Training is currently not available to all Chemical Engineering MS students. It is only available to those in the Pharmaceutical Engineering track. Students in the Chemical Engineering program can choose to apply for Optional Practical Training after completion of their first year if they would like to work in a paid off campus position.
另外系里的小米的回答很婉转，说申请CPT要满足一些条件，然后又说这些条件我们系都不符合{:7_216:}这就是说毕业前不能申请CPT而只能用OPT了？那毕业后OPT的时间不就减少了？不能通融下吗…这个学校我还挺喜欢的，要不要放弃？
