NCSU的ECE的Ph.D申请收到邮件说not complete your areas of interest

如题，但当时网申只有一个申请的minor direction和POI要填 没说感兴趣方向，
另外邮件里也没说怎么处理，感觉像是群发的？ 不知道有没有类似的小伙伴？

Thanks for your interest in coming to North Carolina State University to do a PhD with us. I am the Director of Graduate Programs.

You are being contacted because you did not complete your areas of interest. As part of our PhD recruitment process, we try to match students to multiple potential advisors. It is very helpful in this process if you name areas of interest.

I know some of you indicated your areas of interest in the statement of purpose. We do look at those but many of you did not indicate any preference there. In either case indicating some areas of interest would be useful.

I know some of you truly are not sure what interests you the most. I suggest you think about experiences, in class or work, that engaged you the most - that you find particularly interesting or were particularly good at.
