One (1) fully funded 2-year(MS)/4-year(PhD) Research Assistant (RA) position is now open for graduate students interested in Artificial Intelligence (Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Representation) in Dr. Forrest Sheng Bao‘s lab in the Dept. of Computer Science, Iowa State University. The RA will work with collaborators from the industry, including Alibaba, Reddit, Facebook, and Google. Preferred mindset and qualification:
holding a bachelor/master's degree (or near completion) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related area

autodidactical or self-teaching, e.g., having learned more from Google than the classroom
entrepreneurial, adventurous and maverick, e.g., always thinking different (or differently)
fluent in the English language
