收到了一封NCSU发来的邮件，标题为：Ph.D. Visit Day - Friday Feb. 23 at North Carolina State University。给了当天的日程，说不在美国境内的同学如果那时也在美国也可以去参加，在美国的同学可能获得travel funds。全文如下：
Thanks for your interest in coming to North Carolina State University as a Ph.D. student. I am the Director of Graduate Programs. We are arranging a PhD visit day on Friday, February 23.

The day is broken up into three segments.
1. Orientation and discussion – 9-11 am.
2. Lunch and meetings with PhD alumni and current students. 11-1.
3. Lab tours and meetings with individual faculty and their groups. 1-5.
I know a lot of you reside overseas. I am emailing this to you in case you happen to be in the US on that date for other reasons.
For those of you in the US now, we do have some travel funds to support travel to this event that you can apply for. Please mark the form appropriately. Note, travel support is not automatic but we will consider all requests. For those of you who are local we can supply a parking pass.
I also suggest that you reach out individually to faculty you are interested in working with. Not all are accepting students this year but those who are might be willing to set up phone interviews, etc. as well.
