早上收到的邮件通知，打算1月份去他家了。另外楼主见了一个USC 13SPRING交流群240192736，大家收到13春USC录取的进来交流一下吧~
附个人收集的一些Spring入学情况：
不用啊。3学期结束。春季入学就是spring-fall-spring。除非你铁心要在暑假找实习，那就延期成2年。找工作和有没有实习经历没有必然关系。只是有实习经历一般会有优势。 至于第一学期没有CPT是不是暑期一定不能实习，我们这届有人在尝试，结果还未知。
“对于春季入学的同学来讲 因为美国国家的规定 在美国必须待满2学期才能找实习 所以你可能要延期(读2年) 然后在第三学期找实习 而且有的春季的同学不找实习 也是可以找得到工作的. 秋季和春季并没有差别对待 是一样的.春季的招聘会叫eoc，是开学后3周的时候。秋季的是toc，大概是开学后1个月的时候。当然如果要想有所斩获，必然很早之前就要提前准备。至于大公司，那是不分季节的。Google, facebook, Ms, Amazon, apple, oracle, cisco, linkedin, samsung，boa, Morgan Stanley都有

就我个人所知，USC应该是可以申请Academic Difficulty延期至两年的。这样就是spring-fall-spring-实习-fall？不知道我想的对不对。Academic Difficulty申请见：
Reduced Course Load (RCL)
International students must be registered for a full course of study during fall and spring semesters. For Master's students, a full course of study is 8 units in the Fall and Spring semesters. Registration is not required in Summer semesters, unless it is the student’s first or last semester. International students who plan to be enrolled for less than 8 units must submit the Reduced Course Load form to Office of International Services (OIS) in a timely manner.
There are only a few exceptions to the full time enrollment requirement for the Fall and Spring semesters. Each exception has its own criteria, which are outlined in detail in the OIS website. Please review the information provided by OIS:

Exceptions to the Full-Time Enrollment
Academic Difficulty RCL (once per degree level)
Medical RCL
Final Semester RCL (once per degree program)
The deadline for submitting the Reduced Course Load form is the last day to add/drop for that semester and must be approved by GAPP (OHE 106) prior to submission to OIS (STU 300).
** F-1/J-1 students should not drop below full time enrollment until they have received authorization from OIS. Students who drop below full time enrollment without the proper authorization from OIS will be considered out of status. **

Academic Difficulty RCL
Students may request an RCL due to academic difficulty only once per degree level. Academic difficulty could be due to the following reasons:
;Difficulty with English language or reading requirements
;Unfamiliarity with U.S. teaching methods or
;Improper course placement
Students who receive an academic difficulty RCL must resume a full course of study in the next available semester in order to maintain status.
Final Semester RCL
OIS may authorize a final semester RCL for students who are in their final semester of study and only have a few units remaining to meet academic program requirements. Students may request an RCL due to final semester only once per degree program.

如果你那么有钱...当然可以啦。当然,一般我们拖两年(而不多花钱)用的是其他方法,usc两年内可以有一次申请少修学分的机会(不达到full-time而仍维持f1身份),另外最后一学期也可以不达到full-time

usc是semester制,三个学期，有些学校是quarter制,四个学期。无论哪种都包含一个summer学期,一般可以回国或实习,也可以修课。你拿到的i20是两年,也就是说只要你维持f1身份可以最多2年毕业(对于美国人来说可以超过2年的,每学期也没最低学分限制)。usc ee一般一门课3分,而维持f1身份master每学期至少要8分(usc),所以一般是修3门课共9分,故一共3个学期毕业(比如今年秋季入学就是fall 10,spring 11,fall 11,也就是11年圣诞毕业)。如何拖到2年?三种方法:
27分到了但不申请毕业,继续多出钱修课,只要学校同意就行
你被要求上英语课,那么等价于多修课(每学期维持f1的8分并不要求都是专业课)
usc有一次申请academic difficulty的机会,整个ms program只能用一次,在该学期可以修不到8分但不影响f1身份,这样就可以拖到两年,比如fall 10(9分),spring 11(9分),fall 11(6分,academic difficulty),spring 12 (3分,last semester)
