This is to inform you that you have not been recommended for admission to
the Computer Science Master of Science program. We receive a large number
of applications each year from qualified applicants, but we can only admit
a certain number.

In case you would like to consider other opportunities at UMD, we wanted to
let you know that it is possible to transfer your application to another
program.

One program you might consider is the Master’s in Telecommunications (ENTS)
program, a cross-disciplinary, industry-focused program jointly
administered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and
the R. H. Smith School of Business. (Note the Computer Science Department
has no involvement in this program.) It is a professional program in nature
and does not normally offer financial aid. For more information about the
