IGERT FELLOWSHIP IN SPATIAL DATA MINING FOR FALL 2010
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is part of an Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT), which is the National Science Foundation’s flagship interdisciplinary training program. The focus for computer science is a mining spatio-temporal change patterns across multiple datasets.
Highlights of the program include:
· A Stipend of $30,000 annually for 2 ½ years, with additional funding at department levels
· Paid tuition & health
· Externships with agencies to expose fellows to real-world applications
· International Experience coordinated by the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Austria.
