学术套，教授回复求分析

背景如下：

求分析啊，最近套了一个McGill的教授，因为套的很仔细，学术套吧，他的回复如下：I am interested in your background and would certainly like to consider you as a graduate student. Are you getting your Masters degree now and come for PhD? You should first apply for acceptance to Mcgill and when you get accepted then your file will come to me for review. I can discuss with you the details then. Write to McGill Mechanical Enginering department and apply. Can you get some scholarship to support your studies? All the students from China that comes to my lab have scholarships.
我之前发邮件说过了我是要申硕士，貌似Mcgill也不允许本科直接申博士吧，不过好像教授的权利比较大，貌似听说过有直接申博的成功人士。
想问一下：
1.大家觉得Mcgill的机械工程怎么样？貌似Mcgill的硕士也是有奖的吧。
2.不太理解里面提到的scholarship是什么。难道我要自己先找好scholarship？
3.如果要在加拿大读博的话，出来的就业情况怎么样，听说不怎么景气，求各位大神分析，多谢了。

本人其实是主申米国，辅申加国和新加坡，最终还是希望能去美国就业，但是如果加国就业不错的话也是个选择。
