Canada, Montreal H1B first time, approval

Sorry in advance for not being able to type Chinese.

Just did the intervew today in Montreal, QC, Canada.

Process:
Wait outside the door -> security check -> elevator from RC (Ground floor) to 19th floor -> Document check -> fingerprint -> intervew -> Done

Wait:
Doors open at 12h30, people line up very early. There is only one line and it is NOT according to your scheduled time!
I would recommend coming around 11h30. You will be ahead of most people.

Security check:
They can check your cell phones, watches, small items. Small bags are allowed. Large bags need to be stored else where. (There is a sign for a location for bag check. I stayed in the nearby Courtyard so didn't have to do that).

Elevator!:
It is running! It takes quite long but it is running. I guess everyone would like to triple check whether they pressed the button already or not. {:4_113:}

Document check:
For H1B, only asked for the passport and I797. The officer gave me a brochure about rights of a foreign employee in US.

Fingerprint:
Just usual, left 4 figers -> right 4 fingers -> both thumbs.

Intervew:
Me: Hello. Hand in passport and I797.
VO: Hello, how are you?
Me: Very well. Thank you. How are you?
VO: Good. Thanks for asking. ****(didn't hear clearly)
Me: Sorry. What's that?
VO: Why do you want to go to US?
Me: I am going to work. I have a job there.
VO: (seems like she finally saw it's H1B) Is this a renewal of H1B?
Me: No. It's a new one.
...(VO typing)
VO: Before that you were on F1?
Me: Yes. before that I was on F1 visa.
VO: Who do you work for?
Me: {Company name}
VO: What do you do for the company?
Me: {Insert Resume line here}
VO: Is this the same company you did your OPT?
Me: No. I did my OPT with {previous company name}. I changed my job this June.
...(VO typing)
VO: What is the name of the master program you attended?
Me: Computational Biology.
VO: "Computational Biology"?
Me: (Probably nerously) Yeah that's the name of the program. It's more like using computational methods to solve biology problems.
...(VO typing for a million years).
VO: What is your job title?
Me: Senior Software Engineer.
...(VO typing)
VO: Where do you work?
Me: {Company name}
VO: I mean which city? {City name}?
Me: Yes. {City name}
...(VO typing)
VO: How long are you going to stay in Montreal?
Me: For one week.
VO: Your visa has been approved. You will receive an email when your passport is ready to be picked up. You will be able to pick it the way you selected on the website. (Handing me I797).
Me: Thank you. Have a good day. Bye.
VO: Thanks. Bye.

Now it shows updated today and AP. It's the normal AP I think?
