Ph.D. Openings in Information Retrieval, Text Mining, and HCI (Virginia Tech CS)

弗吉尼亚理工计算机系助理教授姜捷璞计划2019 Fall招收两名博士生。姜老师主要关注信息检索、文本挖掘和人机交互相结合的跨领域问题。博士生未来将研究高度探索性的跨领域问题，例如：

• Explainable Information Retrieval: making search/retrieval techniques more explainable to end users and experts
• Exploratory Text Analytics: addressing ad hoc text mining problems in an interactive mode with minimal human inputs
• Human-AI Collaboration Techniques for IR & text mining applications
