导师回信，如何告诉他我还没有雅思成绩？

昨天联系了一位导师，他表示还有两个PhD名额，如果我有兴趣的话，可以关注他twitter上接下来几个月发布的消息。

导师的回复如下：
thank you for your interest in doing research with me. I'll be moving to
the University of Zurich next year, so I won't be taking in any new
students at the University of Edinburgh in the next academic year.

I will have two open PhD positions at the University of Zurich next
year, both to focus on multi-task learning and multilingual NLP (but not
exclusively NMT). If you're interested in that, I'll be releasing more
information and advertisting the position in the next few months - you
will find this on Twitter.

导师的回信语气很礼貌，但从他的口吻完全判断不出真实想法。。按他所说等待几个月时间，如果到时候拿不到offer的话，我就要错过其他学校了。

导师要搬到苏黎世大学，由于近期才决定要读博，所以我还没有参加过雅思或其他语言等级考试。如果去苏黎世大学的话，似乎还需要考德语？

应该怎么回信比较合适，告诉他我还没有雅思成绩？大家还有什么其他的建议吗？非常感谢！
