ucsd sop要求

之前中介给我看文书的时候说申请ms不需要写很具体的research interest，然后文书里就都没加，提交之后发现ucsd有要求what are your research interests？和how are you a match for the program to which you are applying？
请问大家一下sop里没有写具体的这两个要求会有影响吗？ucsd能update sop吗？
