LZ圣诞前收到NCSU MSA的面试邀请，预约到了1月11号
这几天总结整理了一下现在网上流传的各种面试问题，现在分享给有需要的小伙伴作为参考，也为自己攒点人品{:4_86:}

Part 1 Self-introduction
1. Tell me about yourself and why you choose this program. (为什么其他项目不可以，为什么非这个项目不可的)
2. Why analytics / why do you want to be a data analyst?
3. Why NC State?
4. 选program / 学校的时候有什么criteria？
5. What’s your (short-term) career goal / what does a desired future job look like for you?

Part 2 Questions about your resume and personal statement
1. 看你简历上写你最近做了Python和R的project，不知道你的Python学得怎么样？
2. Do you have any project/work experience with R/Python/SPSS?
3. I saw that you are SAS base certified, is there any other tool you like?
4. 编程经验，用过什么软件。
5. Do you use SQL/Tableau at work? (projects)
6. 你平常用过什么python package？
7. 工作中如何做analysis。
8. 根据你申请时候写的学过的tool/语言，问你如果要选一个做project的话选哪个？介绍一个你用这个tool做过的project？

Part 3 Technical Questions (according to part 4, expecially Statistics)
1. 如何筛选变量(independent variables / dependent variables)？
2. How would you explain P-value / Normal Distribution / Regression analysis / Simple Linear Regression / Multivariable Linear Regression / Logistic Regression / hypothesis (null hypothesis / alternative hypothesis) to people with no stats background at all?
3. 问Linear Regression图中的线是用什么数学方法算出来的并解释(least square method)？
4. R square是什么，R square = 0.8代表什么意思？
5. How to evaluate a linear regression model?
6. 你怎么比较Python和R？
7. 解释Simple / Multiple / PCA regression，详细解释PCA方法，PCA和factor analysis什么区别？
8. 说出Logistic和Linear Regression的区别？

10. Hypothesis具体怎么筛选？

Part 4 Presentation experience (工业界)
1. 你有哪些presentation experience？

Part 5 Teamwork experience
1. 这个项目后面八个月都是teamwork，你怎么看待teamwork？
2. Are you comfortable with working with other people?
3. Teamwork里可能有什么challenge？
4. 讲一个有conflict的teamwork；你怎么解决teamwork中的conflict问题；对teamwork喜欢的地方和不喜欢的地方(你觉得从teamwork能学到什么)；你的teammates会评价你的优缺点是什么吗，有哪些？他们给你提出过哪些建议？你觉得在这些建议后你有改进你的缺点吗？
5. 如果你的队友有和你相反的意见，而你确信你的更好，你会怎么办？
6. 你们平常一起presentation的时候怎么准备？
7. Teamwork leadership.

Part 6 Questions about your personal experience
1. What is your downside and what are the steps you take to overcome it?
2. Is there any time you face a conflict (can be work / study) and how did you resolve it? What else you would do if have a second chance?
3. Tell me about a time you fail many many times and you succeed in the end.
4. What advice you would give to peer students who have a hard time find jobs?
5. 平常学习有什么诀窍(学Python/R/SQL)？
6. 你自学编程的大概过程是什么？
7. How do you manage your time?
8. Your definition of "successful"?
9. Three words to describe yourself.
10. Bad feedback from others and your response to it.
11. What’s your motivation?

Part 7 Questions about the MSA program
1. 对于我们的program你最担心的是哪些方面，最期待的又是哪些方面？
2. 这个项目最吸引人的地方是什么，对你最有挑战的地方是什么？/ 你觉得招进来你可能有的最大的challenge是什么？/ 觉得项目难点有哪些？在来之前打算做哪些准备？

Part 8 Q&A
1. 为什么这个program招收国际生很少？
2. 六月初才毕业来不来得及catch up？
