[align="left"]Job Description:[/align][align="left"][align="left"]Research Engineer, Mapping/Localization (San Jose, CA) Full-time, Part-time, Intern [/align][align="left"]We are currently looking for experienced software engineers to join our San Jose office to develop algorithms and pipelines for autonomous technologies. As a software engineer you will help develop state-of-the-art localization & mapping algorithms that combine data from a wide variety of sensors. [/align][align="left"]Responsibilities: [/align][align="left"]; Performance evaluation of different LiDAR sensors [/align][align="left"]; Develop state-of-the-art LiDAR based localization & mapping algorithms [/align][align="left"]; Develop both high-performance and high-quality software [/align][align="left"]; Performance analysis and code review [/align][align="left"]Education: [/align][align="left"]; Ph.D. or M.S. in robotics, computer science, or a related field [/align][align="left"]Qualifications: [/align][align="left"]; Proven research and development expertise in LiDAR based localization/SLAM [/align][align="left"]; Hands on experience with SLAM, EKF, and commonly used sensing technologies (e.g. camera, LIDAR, IMU, encoder).
