pre-opt的last day和post-opt的first day间隔差了一天不能工作，会有问题吗？

如题，pre-opt的last day是1月31日，申请的post-opt的first day是2月1日，但是，批下来的first date是2月2日，往后延了一天。。。。不知道是不是因为uscis认为start date最早只能是毕业时间后一天？
毕业时间是2月1日，pre-opt的last date和post-opt的start date还是学校办公室老师建议的，申请前，也查过，dhs的sevis官方网站上写的（https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/sevis-help-hub/student-records/fm-student-employment/f-1-optional-practical-training-opt），post-opt can start on or after the completion date，难道uscis执行起来还是按照只能after来执行的？
那这样的话，理论上来说2月1日，周五是不能工作的，需要办理什么手续吗？
之前跟公司讨论如果在1月31日之前不能拿到post-opt的ead卡怎么办，公司hr说可以unpaid leave，而且也要填写一些表格和手续，那现在只有一天，是否有必要做这个手续？
