我们实验室的科研以安全和隐私为主线，目前的主打方向是IoT/CPS security和大数据（社交网络）分析和隐私保护，最新开展的方向包括adversarial machine learning和区块链应用。实验室气氛宽松，鼓励创新，为学生提供尽可能的支持。最近几年毕业的博士生都在硅谷/西雅图找到了很好的工作。信息安全是堪萨斯大学重点发展的方向，我们实验室的老师是这一发展计划的leader。实验室现有多个全奖博士名额，我们期望在未来的今年中进一步发展。

The Information Security Lab at the Department of EECS, The University of Kansas has multiple openings for Ph.D. students starting in the fall of 2018. The primary research interests of the lab lie in the intersection of security and privacy and data science. In particular, the new students will work on a new project on data security and privacy for IoT and cloud computing.
We look for self-motivated students with strong CS/CoE backgrounds, who are interested in academic research on information security. Ph.D. students in the team are fully funded by Graduate Research Assistantships that provide tuition support, health insurance, and stipend.
