前段时间报的offer是套磁老师口头的，今天正式收到了官方的offer，以下是钱的介绍，有点俗哈。
This offer includes a stipend and fellowships in the amount of $26,200 for the 2013-2014 academic year and summer
of 2014, and waivers for tuition and the majority of the student health insurance as described below:
?A Teaching Assistantship (TA) for the 2013-2014 Academic Year. The 2013-2014 TA salary was $1819.33 per
month, and is paid from September through May. The exact amount for 2013-2014 will be determined in
June, but it is expected to remain at a similar level.
?A Graduate Fellowship Award in the amount of $2000. This fellowship will be distributed through the
Bursar抯 Office, with half to be applied in fall, and half in spring, a portion of which will be used to offset
your 1st year student fees.
?A tuition waiver to cover the cost of your tuition each semester.
?A waiver to cover a portion of the student health insurance. In 2012-2013 the total insurance cost was
$1363 per semester, of which $1100 was waived. The remaining $263 was then the responsibility of the
students. We expect similar amounts for the 2013-2014 academic year, with possible adjustments for inflation.
?A summer stipend, paid June, July and August, of approximately $2600 per month, adjusted based on
the TA salary for the 2013-2014 academic year, which will bring the total stipend and fellowship amount
to $26,200.
After your first year you will be responsible for all of your student fees and approximately 25% of the health insurance
premium each semester. Please note that this offer of support is contingent upon maintaining good standing in the
graduate program (e.g., achieving a grade point average of 3.0 or better in all graduate courses, satisfactory
disposition of your teaching responsibilities, etc.) and joining a research group on a Research Assistant (RA)
appointment.
