Utah Graphics 已降成MS 原因附上

偶想申请Utah的Graphics PHD，上学期在Utah交换的时候帮教授做过项目，教授的课程也满分，回国之前教授说我的情况申请PHD很有优势（他知道我申请了他的PHD），偶心里也踏实了许多没多问是否会给offer。但教授昨天回信说我的情况 below the threshold，并且说 The best I can do for you at this point is to have the admissions committee accept you as an unfunded MS student。。。这样是不是不可能拿到offer了？如果可能，应该怎么回复啊？如果不可能，最好的情况就是拿到自费硕士，但是自费硕士对我来说没用，学费太贵了。。

已经拿到了MS AD，昨天闲来无事问了小蜜转成MS的原因，她这么回复的：
The admissions committee carefully evaluated your application and due to the large number of applicants, more applicants than the number of PHD offers we could make, the decision was to offer your admission into our MS program. You are still considered a strong applicant for our program.

我这么问的：
I am pretty glad with the MS Admission, but I wonder which points of my condition are below the requirement of Graphics' PHD student? This is essential for me whether I will accept the admission, thank you :)

好像是因为申Graphics PHD的人多，应该偶被牛人挤了。但隐隐感觉偶有硬伤，，她没说。

再整理一下教授那次回信给的建议：
You can certainly improve your test scores and also your statement.

直觉硬件中T的成绩影响了很多，但对英语考试只能呵呵了{:4_113:}
学Graphics比较中意Utah，今年申了三所，没别的Offer就从他家了，第二年转PHD{:4_97:}
身边有一些大牛好早就拿到很多Offer，确实很羡慕，但自己也全力以赴了，英语底子和出身让自己对以前的努力很感动{:4_121:}
