We are pleased to offer you an appointment as a 25% Graduate Research Associate, RA for the 2019-2020 academic year. The appointment provides financial support in the form of a stipend in the amount of$8,000.00 for the AY.
We are also pleased to offer you a University Graduate Fellowship, in the amount of $17,000.00 per AY.
In addition to your stipend and additional fellowship funding, you will also receive tuition award (reflected asRA/TA Remission on your student account) for 100% of the non-resident portion and 50% of resident tuition. Thecurrent annual value of the tuition benefit for students enrolling in 12 or more hours is $15,099/$30,198 for non-residents and $5,568/$11,136 for residents.
Continuation of financial support is possible for up to four years based on annual review of your academicprogress, satisfactory work performance, and availability of funding. The total estimated value over four years ofsupport including your stipend, tuition, insurance, fellowship funding, and summer support is approximately$122,272.
