英语就得从生活中来,今天我发现一绝好的学英语的材料。我们学校的crime report。。我发现,学英语还真不赖,还很实用。
比如,每次抢劫的过程的描述都简洁有效,而且用词每次都不一样。罪犯要钱的方式也不一样,每次罪犯逃跑的方式的描写也不一样。大家看着学点吧,抢劫是来美国必须得提防的。
Strong Armed Robbery 1803 E. Newberry Blvd.On June 3, 2010, at 3:15AM, a male was approached by three male suspects. Suspect #1 stated, "Give me all your money." The male victim refused and the three suspects then punched and kicked the victim. The suspects obtained a wallet containing identification and cash. The suspects stated they would shoot the victim if he called police. The suspects were last seen fleeing westbound on foot.
Suspect Descriptions:
Suspect #1: Male Black, mid 20's, 5'10", medium build, wearing a black shirt with a red shirt underneath and black pants
Suspect #2: Male Black, 25 years old, 6'0", heavy build, wearing a black shirt with a red shirt underneath and black pants
Suspect #3: Male Black, 20 years old, 6"0", heavy build, wearing a black shirt with a red shirt underneath and black pants
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating this robbery.

Armed Robbery 2100 Block E. Park Pl. Implied Weapon
On Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at about 10:27 p.m., a female UWM student was walking on E. Park Pl. when she was approached from behind by two unknown persons. She was forced to the ground and was told they would shoot her if she screamed. The suspects removed her wallet.
The suspects fled in an unknown direction from the scene.

Suspects description:
Suspect # 1 Male Black, 17-20, 170lbs, medium build, short black hair, no facial hair, dark hoodie and jeans, black and white tennis shoes
Suspect # 2 Male Black, 17-20, 170lbs, medium build, short black hair, no facial hair, red hoodie and jeans, black and white tennis shoes

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating this armed robbery.

Strong Armed Robbery 2500 block of North Frederick Ave.
On Friday May 28, 2010 at about 12:40am a female was walking in the 2500 block of N. Frederick Ave. when she was approached by two individuals, one grabbed her purse, victim resisted and after a brief struggle the second individual was able to take her purse.
The two then fled to a dark colored vehicle, possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix and fled in an unknown direction.
Description of suspects:
#1 Black male, 15 to 21 years old, 5’11”to 6’1”, 120 to 150 lbs, short hair, thin build, wearing a dark short sleeved shirt and dark jeans.
#2 Black male, 15 to 21 years old, 5’11”to 6’1”, 120 to 150 lbs, short hair, thin build, wearing a dark short sleeved shirt and dark jeans.
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating this armed robbery.

Robbery (with Force) 1900 block of East Belleview Place (Belleview and Cramer)[align="center"] [/align]On Saturday, May 22, 2010, at about 11:30 p.m., a woman was talking on her cell phone on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of E. Belleview Place when she was approached by the four suspects, one of whom struck her on the head with a bottle.
The woman dropped her cell phone and a handbag, which were picked up the by the suspects, who then fled eastbound on Belleview.

SUSPECT #1:
Female/ Black, 17years of age, 5'06'' to 5'07'' in height, 125 lbs. blond or strawberry hair with micro braids,
dark complexion.
Last seen wearing a black plaid coat and blue jeans.
SUSPECT #2:
Male/Black, 17 to 18 years of age, 5’06” to 5’10” in height, 150 lbs.
Last seen wearing a black baseball hat, blue jeans shorts and white tennis shoes.
SUSPECT #3:
Male/ Black, 16 to 18 years of age, 5'07'' to 5'10'', 150 lbs. Last seen wearing black jeans, black shoes and a black hooded sweatshirt.
SUSPECT #4:
Male/ Black, 16 to 18 years of age, 5'07'' to 5'10'', 150 lbs. Last seen wearing black pants, black shoes and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Armed Robbery 2700 block of North Bartlett (North Bartlett and E. Park Place) On Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at about 9:50 p.m., two men were walking southbound in the 2700 block of North Bartlett Avenue when they were approached by the three suspects, who produced weapons (two handguns and a knife) and demanded money from the two men.
The three suspects took cash and cell phones and fled in an unknown direction.

SUSPECT #1:
Male/Black, 16 to 18 years of age, 5’06” to 5’07” in height, 130 to 145 lbs with a slender build.
He was last seen wearing dark pants and a grey hoodie.
This suspect had a handgun.
SUSPECT #2:
Male/Black, 16 to 18 years of age, 5’06” to 5’07” in height, 130 to 145 lbs with a slender build.
He was last seen wearing black pants and a black hoodie.
This suspect had a black handgun.
SUSPECT #3:
Unknown race and gender, 16 to 18 years of age, 6’01” to 6’03” in height, 170 to 190 lbs with a slender/thin build.
This suspect was last seen wearing black pants and a black hoodie and a black knit winter hat.
This suspect had a knife.

Strong Armed Robbery 2900 Block of North Hackett (Hackett and Locust)[align="center"]
[/align]On Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 1:00 a.m. a 21 year old male was sitting outside a residence in the 2900 block of North Hackett when he was approached by the three suspects who obtained a wallet, cash and a cell phone from the male.
The three suspects were last seen running southbound on N. Hackett.
The three suspects are described as follows:
Black males wearing black clothing, 18-20 years of age, approximately 5’07” in height, clean shaven with short hair.
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating this strong armed robbery.
If you are a victim of a robbery, it is recommended that you cooperate and turn over your property.

Strong Armed Robbery 2600 block of North Cramer (Cramer and E. Park) On Tuesday, May 4 at 10:30 p.m., a 29 year old male was walking southbound in the 2600 block of North Cramer when he was approached by the two suspects who pushed him down and obtained his cell phone and cash.
The two suspects fled the area on foot.
Suspect #1:
Male/Black, 25 to 29 years of age, 5'10'' in height, 200 to 210 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing jeans and a white tee shirt
Suspect #2:
Male/Black, 25 to 25 years of age, 5'08' to 5’09”' in height, 150 to 160 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing jeans and a black tee shirt
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating this strong armed robbery.
