关于I20的邮寄

同学的I20已经收到Fedex短信入境了我比他早四五天但是至今没有快递的消息，问学校是这样回答的：
Your Form I-20 is in currently in the process of clearing the standard export control process and ISP will notify you once your document is ready to be sent to you via FedEx.
请问这个clearing the standard export control process是什么？出口管制吗？
难道因为我地址写的北航？
这个大概要多久啊。。会不会有什么影响。。
