CPT接OPT

想请教一下各位大神 postdoc cpt接opt的事情。
我打算10月答辩，这样的话算是12月毕业。目前一个offer是11月开始，我想的是在11月和12月之间使用CPT，等学期结束之后再用OPT。我问了下学校IC这样的可行性，他们的回复是If you are enrolling in a class during the Fall ’19 that allows you to do CPT, then yes you would be able to use this CPT to begin your employment. Once you complete your degree, ideally you would be able to continue with your same employer once your Post-Completion OPT is officially approved.
这样的话需不需要给博后那边的学校提一下分开给两份offer的要求？
