不需要担心申请期间 Violation of Status

今年实在太慢了，收到 OPT receipt 也很久了，看目前进度，
基本上是 60-day grace period 内都不会收到 EAD 卡，之前担心会导致 Violation of Status。
虽然之前看地里相关的贴说不会，但还是发邮件给学校问了，现在得到明确的答复，分享一下。
原文：
Once you have filed OPT application with the USCIS,
you can stay in the U.S. and wait for the result of your application.
Since your OPT is pending with the USCIS, your F-1 status is extended.
The 60-day grace period doesn’t apply to you, it only applies to students
who choose not to apply for OPT and will leave the U.S. after graduation.
Then they will have 60 days to prepare for leaving the U.S..
