Dr. Jundong Li from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Virginia is looking for multiple self-motivated students (with full financial aid) who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in data mining, machine learning, and their applications on social computing. Also, self-funded visiting students/scholars are welcome to apply.

About the PI:
Jundong Li is an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia with appointments in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Department of Computer Science, and School of Data Science. His research interests are broadly in data mining and machine learning, with a particular focus on feature learning, graph mining, and social computing. As a result of his research work, he has regularly published research papers in top academic venues, including KDD, WWW, WSDM, AAAI, IJCAI, CIKM, SDM, ICDM, ECML-PKDD, CSUR, TKDD, etc. More information can be found at people.virginia.edu
