被告知没有position是否还应该申请呢

收到第一封套磁信回复，想请教一下大家还应不应该申这所学校呢

老师是这么说的：

Currently there is no opening in the lab, but you can still try your chance at UCF Computer Science, and mention my name or other professors’ name in machine learning fields, and may find a suitable TA or RA positions for 2020 year. If there is an opening, I will let you know too
