Scholarships for PhD students in machine learning are available at the Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. The scholarships include tuition fee waivers and generous living allowance. Applicants need hold or be close to completing an Honours or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related fields. Prior knowledge and experience in machine learning and solid programming skill is a plus.

Successful applicants will work with Prof. Jonathan Shihao Ji (grid.cs.gsu.edu) on topics of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, High Performance Computing, or other related research topics. 要求：
英语： 有要求， 必须有， 但不是特别严格， 一般标准是托福 80、雅思6.5。
背景： 有机器学习、深度学习背景最佳， 数学、编程基础好

目前实验室有5人， 四个中国学生， 一个美国本土人。

我个人理解的申请加分项： 已发表深度学习、机器学习论文（废话） > 数学好 > 有深度学习经验(pytorch、TF) + 编程好 > 有深度学习经验(pytorch、TF) > 编程好。 再带学习计划（英文， 表明self motivated）最好。
