Software Engineer: Advanced Technologies Group – Computer Vision and Image Processing
Advanced Technologies Group is a startup group within AMD with a mission to transform how our future generations will live by continuous innovation and advance AMD's future solution.
Duties
; Build augmented solutions for AMD’s next-generation computer vision HW
; Work closely with cross teams to design and implement end-to-end features.
; Build prototypes, implement advanced algorithms and accelerated applications.
; Work closely with architecture teams to provide timely feedbacks & directions on various architectural design decisions
; Determine and implement unit testing and system level testing strategies.
; Tune and optimize applications based on performance and power consumption analysis.
Qualifications
; MS in CS/EE/Applied math or relevant field with industry experience or BS with industry experience
; Experiences in one of the areas: computer vision, image processing
; Strong software design/engineering skills, C, C++, excellent debugging skills
; Expert in relevant OS fundamentals that affect PPA - memory management, multithreading, locking, asynchronous event handling etc.
; Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork to join a global graphics organization focusing on optimizing current and next-generation technology solutions
