Responsibilities:
- Work with Data Engineering to understand existing data, derive actionable insights from large amounts of data
- Clearly communicate analysis findings and help our stakeholders make better decisions
- Cultivate an understanding of business concepts to assist in identifying opportunities for analytic
- Translate inefficiencies and gaps into needs and address them with analytical solutions leveraging statistical algorithms and machine learning models
- Prototype and implement complex analytical solutions, work with other engineers to bring analytical prototypes to production
- Maintain and monitor models developed and find opportunities to improve

Skills:
- Proficiency in performing data analysis using Python (pandas, numpy) or other data science toolkits (R, MatLab).
- Proficiency in query languages (SQL)
- Ability to communicate complex analysis results in a clear manner to technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of common applied statistics concepts (statistical tests, distributions, probability, regression)
- Knowledge of common machine learning algorithms (kNN, SVM, Random Forest, Neural Network) and modelling techniques
