邮件里面说：Within the School of Civil Engineering, the admission decision and the funding decision are separate. No funding offer has been made to you for admission. However, this does not mean that if you decide to enroll at Purdue, funding your studies on your own, that you are not eligible for future funding. Once you have the opportunity to attend classes and meet the faculty, they may nominate you for funding in subsequent semesters - although this is not guaranteed. About 55% of the current Civil Engineering students are funded within the School. The remaining students either fund their studies on their own or search out funding from other departments on campus.
