然后Vo开始英语寒暄神马的

VO: Are you a returning student? (我前面一个是返签的,水果)
me: No
VO: oh, so you are starting your research.
VO: so this the first time you come to the U.S?
me: No （之前有一个B2的签证，现在还没过期）
VO: Can I see your CV?
me: (心想完了被check了)
VO: Do you have an introduction of your advisor?
me: I will not be assigned to a advisor until after I arrive on campus.
VO: It's okay. Do you have an faculty member you would like to work with?
me: 呈上感兴趣导师的CV, Paper
VO: So you would like to work with Dr. ***
me: Yes
VO: Your research plan?
me: 呈上
VO: 迅速扫了一下，一共三页
然后他很认真地和我说 你被check了，大约要三周，完了最后说了一句什么什么research
貌似是 good luck on your research，总之没有听清， 反正他没说我通过了，只是要check。

好忐忑阿，这算是怎样阿，我现在工作的事业单位，要提前提交正式辞职的，等不了三周阿。。。
一般check的不会被拒什么的吧
