教授和你不熟，推荐信怎么写（续：）

谢谢大家在我上一个帖子里的建议（1point3acres.com），如果和写推荐信的教授不熟，而我的另外两封推荐信已经从课堂和科研角度写了，想让这个教授写通过交流发现我有创新能力，肯吃苦，有团队精神之类的，落脚点在适合去美国学习上，开头可不可以这么写:
Mr. Zhang（我的名字） is one of my former students and our relationship is quite personal. He always comes to talk about what and how he has learned in the lab of Institution of Communication and Information System when I am free. Often we have a pleasant conversation.
然后下面分别写他发现我有哪些好的品质，分别通过一个例子来佐证？如果这样写不合适的话，希望有类似经验的前辈指点迷津，小弟感恩不尽{:7_196:}
