In an effort to safeguard educational equity during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily adopted a test-optional policy for the GRE requirement. This policy is effective for Fall 2021 applicants.
We recognize that testing centers, schools and universities have been suspended or disrupted, which can make applying to graduate school more difficult to navigate than usual. Your admission decision will not be negatively impacted if you do not submit a GRE score this year. We hope this temporary test-optional policy alleviates some of the stress associated with applying.
