找国外教授写推荐信问题

我之前在参加的国际会议上和一个英国教授（他是做HEV的，是英国一所新兴大学的Head级人物）聊的还蛮不错，之后沟通了几封邮件，然后我就干脆直白的问他能否做我推荐人，当然我不想申英国的。所以就是用的这句邀请“i am wondering that if you could be my referee for several American or Canada Universities ?"

之后过了一个多星期他也没回信，我觉得没戏了，然后也觉得和他之间交流认识时间也短，干脆就找了我们学校带我课的一个老师。但是结果今天收到他的回复：
I do still recall our conversation and thank you for your kind words.

I will be happy to act as a referee for you. Concerning your research experience I would like to offer some advice. You have listed youractivity, but I think you should add some comments about what you learnt and how the different activities added to your knowledge and experience. You havelisted three main activities, so write three comments of a few sentences each summarising your experience with that research activity. If you write this I can make some comments.

I wish you well with your applications.


以下是我的疑问：
1. 他这里指的”your activity"是我将我CV中列的几项research experience， 那么他的意思难道是就依据这个写推荐信？还是建议我的CV中加上？
2.他同意做我的referee， 那么国外教授是不是都会自己写推荐信了？也就是我看不到这封推荐信了吧。。
3.这样的推荐信是不是没有给我上过课的老师写的有用啊？



哎。。。没有回信的时候失落，等人家答应了我又纠结 {:4_98:}
