cs phd 套瓷后续求指导！not super-actively recruiting student at the moment

前几天给一位老师发了套磁信，老师表示not super-actively recruiting students at the moment，然后问是不是可以转发给组里其他老师，说have a few faculty who may be interested，always happy to look at strong candidates. 后来我问了下老师申请流程的一些问题，提到如果还是非常感兴趣是不是可以申他，他表示feel free to mention his name in apps。请问这种后续应该怎么跟进呢，还有必要再给这位老师update 我的情况吗，还是直接转去套瓷他们组的其他老师？（也并没有他们组其他老师发邮件给我表示感兴趣）
我对这个老师的研究方向非常感兴趣，但是就不知道这个at the moment 是说今年就不招了还是咋回事。希望大家可以给我一些建议，谢谢！！！
