CMU-ECE 20fall转21spring录取，不能defer，3/4学期可选，有强制intern有CPT，可兼职上网课

20fall申请的CMU四个项目，MSAII脆拒。MSIN在备胎池待了三个多月，最后凉了，跟着凉了的也有MSIT-MOB和ECE，最终CMU全聚德。当时ECE建议我转申21spring并且waive了申请费。
我有一点想咨询下各位，如果在国内remote的话，是不是上网课的学费，也是按照$696/unit（在校内上课的正常学费收费方法）这么收费吗？
前几天ECE来了录取，跟着来的有几封邮件，邮件原文我会附在最下面，大体意思有这么几点我总结下：
1. 不能defer到21fall或者22spring。不能。这点说的很明确。
2. 21spring会继续采用hybrid模式，online+inPerson相结合的授课方式。
3. 有了四个选择：
(1). Standard Program (three semesters)
(2). Applied Program (three semesters with a required internship)
(3). Advanced Program (four semesters)
(4). Applied Advanced Program (four semesters with one required internship)
同时，明确说了，21spring如果in-person到校参加课程的话，会在21summer完成internship。如果21spring remote参加的话，会在22summer完成internship。
! 4. 也是比较重要的一点。有点复杂我直接把邮件内容粘贴过来：
For international students who intend on studying remotely (not on an F1 visa for the Spring 2021 semester) interested in pursuing the Advanced Program or the Applied Advanced Program, you may take courses remotely on either a part-time or full-time basis, but please note the following limitations in visa length:
If you take up to a total of 13 units remotely, you will still get 4 on-campus semesters on your I-20.
If you take a total of 14-49 units remotely, you will get 3 on-campus semesters on your I-20.
If you take over 49 units remotely, you will get 2 on-campus semesters on your I-20.
Note: this includes any remote courses, including pass/fails.
我个人的理解是，21spring在国内上网课修13个学分，I-20上仍然有4个学期(如果你选的是Advanced的话)，然后21fall过去了(如果能的话)，在这13个学分的基础上接着选课上课，上4个学期然后毕业。
如果选择多于13个学分，那么I20上的学期数就会相应变少，到校以后，可以在学校全日制读书的学期数也会变少。
我记得，当时我申20fall的时候，ECE还是只有标准的3学期模式，区仅仅在于匹兹堡和硅谷校区。今年做出的最大的改变在于两点：第一增加了4学期的模式；第二增加了项目强制的实习，这样一来，如果inPerosn仅仅待了1学期(也就是以往所说的spring入学), 还是可以在半年以后拿到CPT去实习的。
可以看的出来，ECE还是挺替学生考虑的。不让defer也在我意料之中，20fall MSIN备胎最后转正的那一波我听说也是不给defer的。而且我觉得也在情理之中，毕竟都defer了学校的境地就比较尴尬甚至麻烦了。
写这么多一是帮我自己梳理梳理，二是给地里的朋友分享下信息，如果能帮助到大家就再好不过了。
