套辞成功后不回复了？？？

两个月前套了个UCSB的教授他这样回复的I am taking students, and I strongly encourage you to apply. After you have applied, please send me another email and we can arrange a time to talk and discuss what is going on int the group. ，然后我说我会尽快申请。中间发了一次邮件跟他说我在准备中，他也没回复我，现在我递交申请了，发了两封邮件都石沉大海，请问这是什么情况！！有没有什么办法补救？？
