The Sun lab – Fluid Dynamics in Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
at Syracuse University has one open Ph.D. position starting from Summer or Fall
2021. The position will be fully funded.
==== Research Topics: ====
Theoretical and numerical studies of unsteady fluid and aerodynamic problems,
modal/non-modal analysis of fluid flow problems and flow control techniques.
==== Desired Qualifications: ====
A BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other
related majors including topic of fluid.
Experience with programming in MATLAB and C++.
Experience with publication in peer-reviewed journal.
