steam opt 没有收到notice不需要着急了，今天和学校确认了不需要notice也可以180天延期

学校回复的“Global’s best practice is to secure a copy of the STEM OPT receipt notice when completing the 180-day I-9 extension based on STEM OPT filing. However, it is not required by the I-9 handbook. Since next week is our last week of work prior to the university closing, I went ahead and scheduled an I-9 update appointment for myself and Dr. Zheng on Tuesday, December 15th. The 180-day I-9 extension will be completed on that day with or without the receipt notice (assuming all other required documents are received – copy of soon to be expired EAD card and I-20 endorsed with STEM OPT with correct employer details).”
所以stem opt得朋友可以先联系学校申请i-9更新。
学校只找我要了Fedex 的tracking number, i20和EAD。减少了这段时间的焦虑
