Immediate Funded Ph.D. Assistantships—Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, USA

The Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, & Systems Engineering (IMSE) at Texas Tech University (TTU), Texas, USA is looking for highly motivated individuals to pursue doctoral degrees in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanics. The fully-funded assistantships cover tuition and a competitive stipend. Potential start dates includes January 2021 or May 2020 or August 2020. The student will work in a federally funded project.

Position requirements:

· A recent M.S. degree (or ongoing) in Biomedical/ Electrical/ Industrial/ Mechanical Engineering, Kinesiology, or similar degrees focusing on biomechanics

Preferred qualifications:

· Hands-on experience in human-related experiments, signal processing, machine learning, human motor control and learning, and musculoskeletal modeling

· Students who are proficient in OpenSim and Finite Element Modeling will be given the most priority.
