We are also pleased to let you know that based on your excellent credentials, we are placing you in our pool of potential nominees for a prestigious University Fellowship. University Fellows receive a full tuition benefit, monthly stipend and an 85% health insurance subsidy. For details on the fellowship benefits, see our Graduate School website.
Fellowship awardees are typically notified in March. In the event that you do not win a fellowship, you will be considered for a Graduate Teaching Associateship, which comes with similar benefits. See our department Funding page for details on the various funding opportunities. We hope to give you an update on your funding status by March and we would appreciate it if you could let us know your decision to accept or decline our offer of admission no later than April 15, 2021. We have a limited number of nomination slots that we can use for the University Fellowship competition, so if at any point in time you should decide that you are no longer interested in attending Ohio State, we would appreciate your letting us know.
