Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Young people now are more likely to help others than young people were in the past.

I generally agree that it is much more possible for teenagers today to help others than those in the pastas a result of three major factors: education, skills and supervise.First of all, the education is much more prevalent today than past, and in many countries the high school education is even compulsory, which means most of teenagers today will receive high school education. However, the young in the past, they suffered a lot because of the bad conditions resulted by endless wars and unrest of the society. Only small portion of them have the opportunity to study. Though there is not a established cause and effect relationship between education and helping others, I believe people with much more knowledge will make more clear sense of why we should help others. Moreover, the young today generally handle more skills to help others, which they may learn from the internet, the class and so on. For example, if you search in the internet of how to help people with sudden heart attack, you will get many professional answers. Yet young people in the past probably do not know that we cannot move the patient with heart attack immediately because they have few access to this sort of knowledge. If they do not have this expertise, we can hardly imagine they will rescue the people when they meet this emergency. Finally, believe it or not we are all supervised by others today, since the development of the internet and instantaneous communication tools. If someone does anything improperly, others may records some evidences and then post themon into the internet, such as weibo or facebook. In seconds, people all over the world will get to know the matter and even blame you. In other words, the internet which connects the world together has already evolved into a kind of most powerful tools to supervise the society and individuals, of course, including the young today, while this tool does not exist in the past.To sum up, according to what have been argued about we can finally draw the conclusion that teenagers today are more likely to help others compared with the young in the past.
