To be a finalcially responsible adult is essencial to a well-operated family, since avoiding waste of money could make us spend money on other things that money is badly needed. the suggestion given by author is that children should learn to manage their own money at young age, and I do really think this is a good idea.
First of all, children have no idea how to manage their own money at their young age, so they have to learn as early as possible, and everyday they will spend money, then if they just form a good habbit to spend money, year after year, the conception of management will be accumulated and deposited in deap heart and they will be likely to become a financially responsible audlt.
In addition, during the management of their money they could realize that money is so limited and cannot fulfill all their desires, and they will manage to spend thriftily, in order to buy more thing they like.If their parents always buy everything they want, they will never know moeny is so limited and need to be spent in a rational way, and they could not likely to become financially responsible adults.
what is more, since managing their own money could lst them know that money is limited, they have to learn to choose products that is high quality and low price at the same time, this process is quiet valuable when they become a adult, since a little bit expensive product with higher quality is much better than a cheaper one that will be out of work soon.
In a nutshell, when they at their young age, children should learn to manage their money, and form some good habits to spend money rationally, these will make them become financially responsible adults.
