Investigating the pollution of groundwater by fluorinated organic compounds, and developing site assessment, remediation and management methods
Desired Skills:
Applicants should have an educational background in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, analytical chemistry or a closely related field. The “chemistry” stream applicants should have good background in organic or environmental chemistry, and the “microbiology” stream applicants should have solid background in environmental microbiology. Applicants must have some hand-on laboratory experience. Experience with analytical instruments such as LC-MS and GC-MS or similar instrumentation are preferred but not required.
