STEM OPT申请递交两周后SEVP Portal显示Employment Authorization New

楼主1月14日寄出STEM OPT申请材料到芝加哥的lockbox，一直没有收到短信和邮件通知。今天偶然上SEVP Portal，登录后出现了STEM OPT reportin timeline。点击进入history后发现今天新增一条Employment Authorization：(XXXXX)(New)，source显示的是SEVIS。按照ice.gov上的说法：

If USCIS approves an F-1 student's employment authorization application, they will send the student a Form I-766, "Employment Authorization Document," and a letter notifying the student of the decision. In addition, the F-1 student's SEVIS record automatically updates to show the off-campus employment approval.

所以这里Employment Authorization(New) 指的是楼主的STEM opt被审核通过，还是只是学校帮我更新STEM OPT I20时的申请信息发到了SEVIS？ 如果是前者的话岂不是一种新的查询STEM OPT申请的方法？后者的话那就白高兴一场，楼主EAD卡2月上旬马上要过期gg了...
