5th AD from Cornell ME, M.S 资金证明需要开两年的量吗

双非录到藤校研究型项目，还是蛮惊喜的。
有两个纠结的问题：
第一是录取信里写For your planning purposes, your total expenses will be an estimated $124,004 for 2 years，那么资金证明需要开两年的量吗？（后面写there are no fellowships, research assistantships, or teaching assistantships available，心寒。）
第二是强调此录取是terminal master's degree，原本有读博想法，但如果两年念完继续转申别家感觉难度不小。
