Unfortunately you were not admitted to our Electrical and Computer Engineering daytime master’s program; however, we are pleased to offer you admission into our department’s Professional Master’s Program (PMP)! Our faculty were impressed with your application, but enrollment restrictions limit our ability to accept all qualified applicants to our daytime program. ;;The PMP leads to the same MSEE degree and is designed for recent graduates as well as professionals already working in the field. With a leading industry-focused curriculum, the PMP offers a wide range of courses covering areas such as machine learning; smart grid and renewable energy; embedded computing; systems, controls and robotics; electromagnetics; signal, image and video processing; microelectromechanical systems; and wireless communications.
The PMP curriculum can be pursued part-time or full-time on the UW - Seattle campus. You can complete the program in three years of part-time study, or one-and-a-half years of full-time study by choosing courses based on your areas of interest. The PMP accepts international students on an F1 visa and provides the same CPT and OPT opportunities as our daytime MSEE program. Courses are taught by our world-class faculty and industry leaders who highlight their cutting-edge research and current, relevant issues and topics in industry.
